On July 4th, 2008, Governor Rendell signed into Law HB1067.
Section 4 of this bill contains the wording from HB65, which allows
the parents of twins and higher order multiples to have a primary voice
in the placement decisions of their children (either separate or together)
within the classroom. This legislation is now the LAW! To view the bill

into the "Find Legislation By" box in the upper right corner.
The law will be in effect beginning with the 2008-2009
school year. Anyone with children who may be affected
by this law for this school year may want to notify their
school district's superintendent if necessary.
